On April 21st join us to celebrate what is great about America - a place where we can benefit from our differences and come together in our commonalities. Now, more than ever, we need to stand together, united in peace.|
Wyoming Presbyterian Church invites you to join us on April 21st for a special dinner with Syria Supper Club (the keystone program of The United Tastes of America). The event and program support families of Syrian refugees recently settled in New Jersey.
A meal will be prepared by some of our new Syrian neighbors who will share their traditional cooking skills at a table full of traditional Syrian food.
Enjoy the food, conversation and making friends with neighbors old and new. From cultural exchange to just plain fun, look forward to a great evening.
These meals present an opportunity for resettled Syrian families to share knowledge and skills unique to them, for recipients to become partners in fund-raising efforts and set them on a path of greater independence and confidence in their new lives here in New Jersey.
Guests are encouraged to sign up to host a meal once they have enjoyed the experience of a special Syria Supper Club event.
This is an alcohol free event.
